Scentsational Dogs delivers friendly dog behaviour assessments and training solutions. I have a specialist interest in dogs who exhibit aggressive, fearful and repetitive problem behaviours.
I cover Rotherham and Doncaster in South Yorkshire. If you’re based further than 15 miles from S63, additional mileage costs will apply. Alternatively, I may be able to offer online support (case dependent).
I work one-to-one with you and your dog so that all my attention is on you for the duration you pay for. This means I design each session to you and your dog’s needs and make changes as they arise. I find many people prefer this approach and the flexibility it offers – sessions are not set to specific days, times or locations – I work around your schedule to ensure you achieve the best results.

Compassion
The behaviour consultation can last several hours and talking through your dog’s problem behaviour can be difficult. This is a non-judgmental, fact-finding process where I will ask lots of questions to assess the emotion and motivation underlying your dog’s behaviour. All dogs deserve to be treated with respect and kindness which is why I use science-based training methods, providing your dog with choice and autonomy through positive reinforcement.
Connection
A big part of success is connection. My behaviour plans focus on strengthening your relationship and building trust and understanding between you and your dog. As your behaviourist, I strive to be your approachable and friendly coach.
Collaboration
I will work alongside your vet as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring your dog’s physical and emotional well-being is being cared for throughout their behaviour support. Additionally, if you utilise a dog walker or groomer, they can be included in follow-up sessions to ensure a consistent approach to your dog’s needs.
